State Documents
The Mississippi Library Commission is the Recorder of Public Documents for the State Depository Program as mandated by the Mississippi Code 1972 §25-51-1 through § 25-51-7. An archival collection of over 60,000 publications issued by Mississippi state agencies is maintained and appears in the Resource Library online catalog. All state government publications and reference services are accessible to libraries and the general public. Interlibrary loan of materials must be channeled through the local library. Services may also be accessed through the network of state depository libraries located throughout the state.
Commission staff maintains the State Documents Online service, which provides access to full-text documents published by state government online.
Staff also publishes the State Documents Publications Index which lists recently issued publications provided to the state depository.
