Reference Services
Reference and research services are available to all types of libraries to supplement and complement local library services. Reference staff provide in-depth assistance to libraries to meet the information needs of their local customers and to state government to meet job-related information needs.
The collection includes subscriptions to specialized online resources to assist staff in researching requests. These resources are accessible to users within the Library Commission premises. Reference staff also maintain links to recommended free web resources on a variety of topics of interest to librarians and the general public.
Patents and Trademarks, State Documents, and Federal Documents services are also managed by reference staff.
