Advisory Committee

An advisory committee composed of current users and representatives of related organizations provides valuable public input used by BPHLS in the formulation of services to meet user's needs. Members are also charged with:

  • increasing public awareness of the library's facilities and services
  • increasing the potential for services to unserved individuals
  • helping the library establish priorities for future expansion of services
  • encouraging the efforts of volunteers in service to users
  • providing comments and reactions regarding the development of new equipment and materials

The Advisory Committee meets twice a year in February and August.
